Section 426 of Companies Act, 2013: Delegation of powers
Updated: Oct 17, 2022
The Tribunal or the Appellate Tribunal may, by general or special order, direct any of its officers or employees, or any other person authorized by it, to inquire into any matter connected with any proceeding or, as the case may be, appeal before it, and to report to it in such manner as may be specified in the order, subject to such conditions if any, as may be specified in the order.
What is Delegation?
Delegation is the delegation of authority to another person to perform specific tasks. It is the process of delegating and entrusting work to another person, and as such, it is one of the fundamental concepts of management leadership.
For example: Giving directions to a subordinate and telling them exactly what to do. Assigning someone to gather research, solicit feedback, and report back to you so that you can make informed decisions.
