Section 461 of the Companies Act,2013: Annual report by Central Government

Section 461 of the Companies Act, 2013 states that, ''The Central Government shall cause a general annual report on the working and administration of this Act to be prepared and laid before each House of Parliament within one year of the close of the year to which the report relates.''

This means that the Central Government has to ensure that an annual report is prepared on how this Act is so far being administered and working out as a whole and then it has to be presented in both the houses of Parliament within a period of 1 year and the year should be the one of which the report is made.
