What is a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)?

Digital Signature Certificates or DSC or commonly known in short as Digital Signature is used to sign documents. DSC's are being adopted by various government agencies and now is a statutory requirement in various applications like Income tax filing, GST application, incorporation of company, e-tender, e-procurement, e-bidding, e-auction, etc.

Why is a Digital Signature Certificate required?

Physical documents are signed manually, similarly, electronic documents, for example, e-forms are required to be signed digitally using a Digital Signature Certificate.

How to obtain a Digital Signature Certificate?

 

The Controller of Certifying Authority (CCA) has appointed Certifying Authority (CA) for issuing DSC. CA’s have the licence to issue Class 3 DSC.

What documents are required to obtain a DSC?

 

The following documents are required to obtain a Digital Signature Certificate:

  • PAN Card

  • Aadhar Card

  • Passport size photo

Steps to obtain a DSC?

 

Step - 1 Buy our Class 3 digital signature certificate with 2 years validity below.

Step - 2 Upload your PAN Card, Aadhar Card and your passport size photo on the next page.

Step - 3 A RegisterKaro expert will get in touch with you immediately as an OTP verification is required for both your email ID and phone no registered with Aadhar Card.

Step - 4 Once the OTP verification is done a video verification will be required from your end.

Step - 5 The video verification link would be sent to your registered Email ID. Please click the link and follow the instructions below

You will get a email from Pantasign once you have purchased the Digital Signature Certificate with us. A Digital Signature is reuqired why submitting forms to MCA or filing GST ot Tax returns
You will have to complete a video verification from pantasign to complete the DSC verification process.

Please click on Capture Video. Once the video starts recording, you will have to read the text on the screen. After that, you will have to display your PAN Card and Aadhar Card to the camera. Hold it still to ensure that everything is shown clearly.

Please click on Submit.

Once the video has been uploaded in Pantasign portal, you can review and submit it.

Please Click OK when the alert pops up.

Make sure the video being sent to Pantasign is clear and audible.

Finally Click OK. You're video verification would now be done.

Once you click Ok. The video will be sent to Pantasign for verification. They will revert back if they have any queries with regard to your Digital Signature application

Step - 6 Once the video verification is successful, we will send you the token which contains the Digital Signature.
