TEXPROCIL stands for The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council. It is the official body responsible for promoting cotton textile exports from India. It was founded in 1954 to support and promote Indian cotton textile exports globally.
TEXPROCIL registration is the formal process for exporters to become members of the council, which operates under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. After registration, members get a Registration Cum Membership Certificate (RCMC).
The e-RCMC is issued digitally through the DGFT’s common online platform. This certificate is essential for exporters to avail the benefits under India’s Foreign Trade Policy, also known as the FTP.
